The Rose Quartz Cottage is a family run business started by Tricia Buck and her daughter Liana Handley.  The name Rose Quartz was the idea of Riddick, Liana’s 8 year old son.  He came up with it while examining some gems in his rock collection.  As it turns out The Rose Quartz Cottage was shockingly appropriate.  The beautiful Rose Quartz is often used to comfort and heal emotional wounds and distress caused by grief and to promote inner peace.  Sadly, Liana’s husband passed from this world in the summer of 2015.  There could be no more appropriate name for the new adventure this family has begun.  Incidentally, Rose Quartz was then named the pantone color for 2016.  Again proving to be the perfect choice for a name.

Rose Quartz Stone

The fair and lovely Rose Quartz, with its gentle pink essence, is a stone of the heart, a Crystal of Unconditional Love, it carries a soft feminine energy of compassion and peace, tenderness and healing, nourishment and comfort.  It speaks directly to the heart.  Rose Quartz was used as a love token as early as 600 BC to inspire love in oneself and others.  Rose Quartz is often used to calm fears in children at bedtime and provide beautiful dreams.  Rose Quartz is a powerful gem used to heal emotional wounds and dissolve worries, fears and sorrows.  It is very often used to comfort and heal the distress caused by grief and promote a deep sense of inner peace.
